Lizia Woolf is a 20 year old London-born woman who is worried about her future and the future of young people that are growing up on the south London estates she knows well. She spoke in front of a crowd of around a thousand people attending the ‘Declaration of Rebellion’ unauthorised rally in Parliament Square on October 31st.
Extinction Rebellion, who organised the rally, are planning a series of non-violent civil disobedience actions during November with a mass day of action on the 17th. They want real positive commitment from the Government on climate change, including the involvement of a People’s Assembly to oversee new strategies.
