On Sunday 8th May 2016, Campaign Against Climate Change was joined by Vivienne Westwood’s Climate Revolution and more than a dozen other climate groups, to protest at the current government’s backward policies on climate change.

The message was clear as protesters walked backwards down Whitehall exactly one year after the Conservatives took office, and listened to an array of speakers highlighting the U-turns, the cuts to budgets for renewables, clean energy and home insulation, the increase in road and aviation spending, and the push for unsafe and unclean energy strategies like fracking.
