For the seventh time this month, the activist network Palestine Action has targeted the kill chain that supplies Israel with weapons and drones which they use to enforce their illegal occupation and oppression of the Palestinian people.

In the early hours of the Summer solstice three activists slipped passed increased security and police surveillance and once again occupied the Ferranti Technology in Oldham, a subsidiary of Elbit Systems UK.

They chained the gates, smashed windows, occupied the roof, and poured blood-red paint on the building. This is the seventh action by the group this month alone, as more and more people join up in response to the recent attacks by Israel, and the ongoing injustices and provocations occurring daily in Jerusalem and the occupied territories.

Although the protesters were arrested later this afternoon, local people once again came out in support and chanted slogans and made speeches in front of the factory. Ferranti is believed to make specialist surveillance and imaging equipment which is used in the Hermes 450 and 900 drones, used by the IDF in surveillance and bombing missions in Gaza.
