More than two dozen dancers performed outside the Lloyd’s building in London this morning to begin a week of protests against the insurance industry’s support for fossil fuel exploration in the face of climate breakdown.
Organised by Mothers Rise Up, the performance imagined a world where companies are persuaded to insure clean renewable energy. High winds prevented stilt walkers from taking part as planned.
Daily protests are expected in countries around the world this week, demanding that financiers ‘Insure Our Future’.
