Linda is the second of our exclusive interviews with people who will be taking part in the #HeathrowPause action on Friday 13th September. She has spent her life building up an accountancy business and being a mother and has never been in any sort of trouble, but now she intends to fly a toy drone within the restricted area around Heathrow airport.
Although the action poses no danger whatsoever to passengers and aircraft, the airport authorities are likely to ground flights, thus pausing carbon emissions and creating further debate over the third runway expansion policy which got the go-ahead just days after the UK government passed a motion declaring a climate emergency.
