At the ‘Blood Of Our Children’ protest organised by Extinction Rebellion on 9th March, 300 litres of fake blood was poured on the road outside Downing Street by dozens of adult activists willing to be arrested.
A string of younger speakers took to the stage to express their hopes, fears, and demands, and among them was this 14 year old, Felix, who had come along on his own to take part in the event.
Young people all over the world are taking to the streets in protest at government inaction over a multitude of environmental concerns, and thousands are expected to walk out of schools across the UK next Friday, 15th March. Felix will likely be one of them.
