This afternoon, activists campaigning against arms company Elbit Systems UK visited the London office of Jones Lang LaSalle, who are the landlords of Elbit’s main office in Kingsway.
The protesters, from direct action network Palestine Action, sprayed red paint in the foyer of the JLL office in Warwick Street, Soho, while others chanted outside holding a large banner that said “LaSalle, Stop Aiding War Criminals”.
Palestine Action are demanding that LaSalle evict Elbit, claiming that while taking money from the drone manufacturer Elbit, LaSalle are themselves profiting from the war crimes involving those drones which Israel has been accused of in the occupied territories.
JLL has been targeted with stencils and red paint several times recently by the group. Real Media contacted the company for their response but they have not got back to us in time for publication.
