At 2am this morning activists from Palestine Action once again climbed on to the roof of UAV Engines Ltd in Shenstone Midlands.

The factory manufactures drone technology and is a subsidiary of Israeli weapons firm Elbit Systems. Their drones have been used in illegally occupied Palestinian territories during actions described as war crimes by international observers.

This is the sixth time that UAV Engines in Shenstone has been targeted but no-one has yet been taken to court despite hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of damage and factory closures.

A fully accredited journalist was arrested at the scene. This is the third time in as many weeks that press journalists have been targeted by police in what appears to be a sinister trend and an abuse of powers.

Elbit Systems and UAV Engines Ltd were both contacted for comment, but neither company has responded at time of publication.
