The ‘Oil & Money 2018’ conference was held in London on the 9th October, the day after the IPCC issued its devastating report on climate change and the lack of progress to stem it.

That evening, an awards ceremony was held at the Dorchester Hotel in Park Lane, with CEO of BP, Bob Dudley, receiving a prize as the 2018 Petroleum Executive of the Year.

Outside the hotel, protest groups gathered and held a mock award, ushering guests past huge banners that said “Climate Criminals Enter Here”.

The demonstration was called by Fossil Fuel London, and was supported by Divest Imperial College London, Extinction Rebellion, The Green Party, and Renewable Runway. Feral X also projected the words ‘Climate Criminals Inside’ on the front of the hotel.
